Shouldn't Teachers be given Lie Detector test every six months? Because of all the Teachers having sex with children in the news these days, just think of all the ones that are still out there. Do we just blindly trust them? If they have nothing to hide, why not?

Let's give teachers lie detector tests...let's give everyone around children lie detector tests...let's give parents and family members and wayward *** NEW boyfriends and girlfriends and sex partners who people bring around their children lie detector tests. I'm a teacher who would never subject myself to something like that until you start testing EVERYONE around children...nice try though.

Because lie detector tests are stupid. They don't actually work and shouldn't be trusted. If lie dectectors were foolproof people would use them every day, but whatever reason it is that you aren't given lie dectector tests on a regular basis goes for teachers as well.

Lie detector tests can be stumped. Especially if you know that it's coming.

I don't think that it should be made neccessary or mandatory.

We should "watch" teachers better for such things, but we shouldn't make them take a lie detector test. Watch doesn't mean cameras.

Make teachers take an oath, and tell every student that he or she may anonymously tell if his or her teacher shows such signs towards him, her, or others.

Where would the state get the funding to do such silly thing. What should be done is better screening before the teachers even begin there jobs and also regular check up on the students and teachers as well.
