The best thing about it is that it is supposed to have the same security but instead of informing you every time you are entering a secure website you can set it not to at ones that you frequent. Also, and unsecure data and https it has lock and key to indicate that you are safe and not possibly being phished. Other benefits, but just recommend you go for it. Thunderbird will also be updated soon, but I haven't looked into that.

Its not out yet (should be released on October 24) but it is available for download as a beta test. From what I hear, there are a lot of extensions from 1.5 that are built-in to 2.0 (like undo a closed tab). From the screen shots and reports, it looks exactly the same as 1.5 when you first load it so you won't be over-whelmed by a new look (something IE users have been complaining about). Right now, not many (if any) extensions work because it is still in the beta testing and the same goes with themes (from what I hear, CloudGnome is the only one that works).

I haven't noticed many new features yet, but it seems a lot lighter and faster.
