i'm you're right-handed, which step of foot should you take off on when doing a reverse lay-up from the right of the basket to the left?

your right leg...since you are right handed....u'r rightleg will be stronger to lift you up..

Normally, and regardless of what type of lay-up shot you shoot, it is proper form to take off with the opposite foot of which hand you are shooting. (i.e., If you are using your left hand on the reverse, you should jump off your right foot.) The law of opposition provides balance for your center of gravity.

on a reverse layup always take off on your outside foot, it will protect the ball from being stolen and your body positioning will be open for the foul.
