You know that old song, "Save the Last Dance for Me?" Where the guy says you can flirt and have fun and everything, but just remember who is taking you home? I think this is a balanced approach. Because it's fun to flirt, and dance with people, and have fun with lots of people, not just one guy.
But there's a line -- like, I would never kiss in a boyfriend/girlfriend manner, or go beyond that.
How does she treat you? Does she respect you, does she flirt with you, does she have fun with you? If so, you probably have a pretty good relationship. Think about it, and decide for yourself where the line should be. Then talk to her and ask her where her line is. Someone may have to compromise a little. If you have to compromise a lot, though, maybe you two aren't in the same relationship that you think you are. Maybe she's not as serious about it as you are. But you won't know unless you talk about it.

yeah, that is not normal. The whole purpose of flirting is to show romantic or sexual interest in a person. Anyone who tells you otherwise is probably a hoebag and cant hold down a relationship because of their behavior.
