The 'spoolsv.exe' command is used by your printer. It's suppose to 'spool' the information together for quicker printing but, as in your case, often gets hung up and causes slow-down. You did good turning it off. You can click START, RUN and type msconfig Click STARTUP and take it off start-up so it will quit annoying so much. good luck :-)
