I think it would be a very interesting read. If you not heard the word Amalgam then obviously you need to brush up on your History of Marvel and Dc comics constant competing with each other.

No. I would not. I thought the Amalgam run was interesting at the time, but any attempt to re-visit it would be lame. Unless Warren Ellis or Brian Michael Bendis or Kurt Busiek were doing it.

Not really.... In theory it is a cool concept and interesting. In practice however it produces sub-par characters, and poor quality stories.
I read some (admittedly not all) of the Amalgam Comics... they had mishmashed characters like Bruce Wayne: Agent of SHIELD (an angry Nick Fury/ Playboy fusion), Whatever that Batman-Wolverine was (what I'd call Baterine), Super Patriot (Superman-Captain America), and others.... They completely missed the mark and idea behind merging the characters and universes. I don't think they'd get it right even now....

The Adding DC to marvel would be like adding a turd to a fine steak.
DC only has a small number of characters that are any good (almost all of them come from the bat books).
Just have DC sell the rights to Batman and related characters (catwoman, robin, gordon, joker, etc.) and we can end this farce that DC calls comics already.

NO!!!!!!!! It was good for its time, but that time is over. Besides, if Marvel had its way, every character would be part of the X-Men or the Avengers. Do you want to see the XJLAvengers? Good idea though, lol.

i would like one giant size issue that leads to a major battle of these malgamized characters. they need to play it off a joint civil war/identity crisis story line. would be pretty interesting. i would also like to see more 2099 stories.
