If a guy has recently cheated, will he act different to his spouse ( defensive and aggressive towards her and not hugging her and kissing her) ??

It's a good indication. However, there are exceptions to every rule.

Look anybody who feels guilty for cheating on someone will automaticaly feel anything as a guilt towards what he did, if your man wants to hug you(which he will do more frequently and you might get bored of and try to get some space.) he will feel guilty and he might just stay quiet for the whole day and wait till the coast is clear to make a move again, the only thing is if he really liked or loved you before he did it, because there are players out there so it depends if he was loyal for a long time and if he was loyal before than i hope you like very sensitive guys because until he feels comfortable with your okay it's going to be a long time.

A guy could act like that for a bunch of reasons. Each guy is different, and it depends on how he acted toward you before. If he is stressed about something that he feels he cannot control or figure out and it is constantly on his mind, he could treat you like that because you are bothering him as he is trying to figure it out. If he is only angry and aggressive toward you, it might be you he has the problem with, but if he has changed how he treats everything and everybody, it could be something else. Why not ask politely to find out what is troubling him, without accusations and anger. Tell him you want to help him feel better and want to help. Listen to what he says. Stay calm. Ask if he is unhappy with his life. Maybe he will finally tell you if he doesnt feel you are attacking.

If the guy in question gets frustrated easily, or is passive aggressive, then it is a good chance that those are the signs of guilty(either the first time, or the guilt is seriously wieghing down on him). But if he is going through stress in his life, then they could be signs of those too, and he might be keeping it from you for fear of embaressment or shame. My advice, investigate. Discreetly...(no matter what the truth might be)

People are individuals, so they don't necessarily do specific types of behaviour for the same reason. For all you know he could be acting that way because you are behaving suspiciously towards him.
