My thumbs look really weird. They are short, fat, and have a super wide nail. Does anybody else have thumbs like this? If you do, can you please tell me how you feel about them?

I got em! I thought my thumbs were "normal" until about 4th grade when some little punk was making fun of my thumbs...I told him his were messed up because they were tall and narrow (both of my thumbs are the same, my aunt has one of each) So anyways nobody really notices unless they are paying too much attention to your hands....Try covering the big toe of a girl with your thumb...It will probobly look like their toe...Thats the best way to describe my thumbs...girls big toes :) sonofa

My friend you are suffering from the dreaded Hammer Thumbs and I'm afraid there is no cure you can only pray that you will shrink and gain weight so that you look proportionate to your thumbs. On the good side if that does happen you can grow a beard and enjoy a long career as a garden gnome.

yah mine are pretty big,i remember when i was younger i used to put on those press on nails and the thumbs would never fit, after a while i just realized that people arent staring at your thumbs,they will be staring at YOU,and if you want to make sure of that just try wearing a bit of makeup.but trust me,it only seems bad to you :)

I do not have this trait, but I have seen many people who do. I'm sure it's just a genetic trait, and obviously, practically speaking, there's nothing you can do about it. Just be grateful you have opposable thumbs that work just as well as anyone else's! I guarantee that it bothers you a million times more than it bothers anyone else.
