hi i worked as a starter chef at a restaurant. my boss found i was looking for another job and instantly sacked me saying i had an attitude and told others he dident want to train me if i was going to leave... i was only there 2 months but dident get no warnings or notice , he just came up to me in the morning and told me i was sacked... so i ask you am i entitled to anything ???

Sorry, move on. Get another job. If you're job shopping you have to be very careful. Its pretty routine to dump people that are job shopping it demonstrates a lack of commitment on your part. You have to understand employers consider training an investment. Unless they have some committment from you they don't want to make that investment.

You are entitled to all wages and tip money earned untill you were released. You are entitled to be paid out any earned vacation, or comp time (if any) and all wages within seven days of termination. Beyond that, you are entitled to nothing. Sorry! In the restaurant business I doubt there is any "due process", but you can ask to look at the personnel or policy manuals, if there is such a thing.

depending on your apprentice agreement, if none, you should be entitled to seven days notice. I am old Union school, this redundancy business has made it difficult for both employer and job seekers. Only apprentices had other than 7 days notice or 7 days pay in lieu agreements. Usually not beneficial for the apprentice so, Check with your union, or have someone read any workplace agreement. Good luck with your new job hassa ps. I suspect your length of service would not entitle you to long service leave.

if you're in the UK, no your not entitled to anything, you have no rights to claim unfair dismissal until you have worked a certain period for the employer, as you were only there for two months unfair dismissal doesnt come into it, However having said that, unless you were guilty of gross misconduct he did not have the right to dismiss you instantly, he should have given you at least the notice time agreed at the time of employment or payment in lieue of notice, if he did not do so, then you are entitled to claim for payment in lieue under the small claims procedure in your county court, simply get a form from the court, fill it in and pay the necessary fee, and they will handle the rest for you.

You are entitled to be paid for hours worked. If he still refuses send round some mates to have a meal there and see that they all get suspected food poisoning, call for ambulance and be seen carried out on stretchers. Do this on a regular basis and then see if he changes his mind.

Due to the length of time you were employed. You are entitled to be paid in lieu of notice. If your contract states that you have to give a weeks notice and vice versa. Then the company has to pay you a weeks money on top of any wages that they owe you. You are also entitled to 1.66 days holiday for every month employed.

If you've not been employed there for 12 months, you're not entitled to anything except payment for the hours you have worked.

Where do you live? In the US, most states are considered "at will". That means you can be fired at anytime for any or no reason at all, with no compensation.
