cats are a strange and mysterious animal. They are self-reliant, easy to care for, and they all have different personalites, yet all the same somehow. Some cats will play fetch, some are really goofy, some are mean and like to play-fight a lot. I find that fluffy cats tend to be more friendly, and the males more goofy. Although males need to have their littler cleaned out more often. Mine greet me at the door when i come home, and I never have to bathe them or walk them.

If possible, rescue one. There are alot of homeless ones out there, in shelters, etc. HOWEVER, think of it in a very small way of like adopting a child. You MUST be financially & emotionally able to invest in your baby, but the returns are amazing. MAKE SURE you get him/her fixed, and that you will be able to afford or insure quality pet care. And PLEASE keep it indoors, it doubles the life of your cat- at least.

I have one, his name is Jax, an orange tabby. He is so cool. I say get one only if you like cats and youre gonna take very good care of it.

Sure, but they are like Lays chips, you can't have only one. We have four and I'm allergic to cats, but I love them anyway.
