I like piercings better because you can change the design of it also if you get old and don't want the piercing anymore you could just take it off.

Neither. Why Mutilate your body, even in the smallest way? So that other people will think you are cool? The human body is beautiful enough as it is. If you already are adorned with frackles or a strategically placed mole, then nature has provided you with enough adornment. I'd say go crazy with your hair, you can always grow it back out.
