Yes it can get too low. There is a medical condition called neurocardiogenic syncope. I know, I have it. It is diaganosed with a tilt table test. It can cause fainting, tiredness, and in some people like me seizure like activity, and when low enough it is hard to tell if dead or alive. Mine has been so low a blood pressure cuff at the e.r. could not register a bottom number. It makes you feel awful. There are several support groups on the internet. This is a life altering condition. Please watch your pulse rate also. If I can help let me know.

Healthy blood pressure runs between 90-120 over 60-80. Anything under 90 over 60 is low. And yes, low blood pressure not only exists, it is as dangerous as high blood pressure. Low blood pressure is blood pressure that is so low that it is causing symptoms or signs due to the low flow of blood through the arteries and veins. When the flow of blood is too low to deliver enough oxygen and nutrients to vital organs such as the brain, heart, and kidney; the organs do not function normally and may be permanently damaged. It should be noted that unlike high blood pressure, which is defined on the basis of blood pressure alone, low blood pressure is defined primarily by signs and symptoms of low blood flow. In fact, some individuals may have a blood pressure of 90/50 and have no signs or symptoms of low blood pressure, and, therefore, not have low blood pressure while others who normally have a blood pressure of 130/80 may develop symptoms and signs of low blood pressure if their blood pressure drops to 100/60.

I would suggest you to see the doctor that prescribed the meds that you are using to lower the blood pressure. I am not sure if there is such a thing, but it seems that it is awfully low. Since you are tired, I would assume you are taking too high of a dose for your body. But best thing to do is consult your doctor ASAP.

Sure, it can be too low. If it is at zero, it is definitely too low - so it stands to reason, it can be lower than is safe.

If it is too low (but of course above zero) you can probably have blackouts or dizzy spells. I imagine if your blood pressure is really low, and you squat down for a long time - then suddenly stand up, you are probably going to be experiencing some side effects.

Too low on the blood pressure reading can lead to light headedness and fainting. Generally the damage is done by high blood pressure. As long as you have enough energy and can function, don't worry about low readings.

It could be the reason you are tired yes. However, DO NOT STOP TAKING YOUR MEDS WITHOUT A DOCTOR checking it out for you. You might need a slightly lower dose.

The signs that your blood pressure is too low are things like dizzyness, especially when you stand up, headaches and yes tiredness.

First before we define what is low, we should first define what is normal. Normal BP should be at least <120/80. BP of 110/90, 120/90. 13090 is already PRE-Hypertension , a stage going to hypertension.
It is important that BP be taken carefully. The most reliable of taking the BP is by using the sphygmomanometer by a reliable person
( persons from the health team). Nowadays, BP apparatus like the digitals are being used by the layman, however how reliable are they?
If you want to monitor your BP. bring your BP apparatus in the doctors clinic and compare it with the office sphygmomanometer.
BP you mentioned is too low, follow first my advice. Some disease conditions present with low BP. Shock usually present with low BP. Palpatory BP usually presents with the systolic only and no diastolic can be heard. Example: 70 palpatory, 60, palpatory. This are emergency cases and are usually what we see in the cases of patients about to die. There are cases in which some medications can be given so that BP can be normalize. In septic shock, shock due to infections, infection should first be treated and then medications to increase BP should be given , They are usually in the form of intravenous medications or are incorporated in the dextrose.
