yes and no. i say that because alot of what people see on t.v and the interenet they feel like they want to do it because someone else is doing it but i say no because just because it is on either one that doesnt mean they have to do it some just choose to.

I believe that it is not responsible for real life violence but I strongly agree that it can have an influence. So many times you hear about the fact that this person did that to that person because he/she had seen it on some show or heard about it somewhere.
I think one major thing is with the school shootings at the moment. It seems to lull for a bit but then once one occurs, it is seen through the media, then others think they can do it and be heroes.
I think it depends on the mentality of the person, what they have seen and what has been shown. I know I can't stand watching the onslaught of crime shows at the moment because I know they are based on or someone could go out and do what happens in the show.

The conservative-biased media has managed to brainwash millions of otherwise intelligent Americans into believing any and all of the lies, half-truths, distortions, and other fabrications the Republican Party propagandists wish to spew out over the air waves. Fox "News" isn't news; it's a Nazi-inspired propaganda machine for the Republican Party. Drug-infested Rush Limbaugh isn't a political commentator; he's a repugnat lying pig who doesn't believe in our most valued rights, such as freedom of speech and freedom of expression.
The hatred and bigotry these media people spit out is certainly repsponsible for real-life violence. Copy cats copy whatever the media fat cats report. -RKO-

Yes, I do. I believe that what people see on TV makes them want to be like that person or persons. And with all the violence in movies and on television it's rubbing off on a LOT of people! Parents are also a problem. Now, it seems like they just don't care what they're children watch. Then, these kids watch violence and grow up to be terrible people!

the internet is a tool. you can build a house with a hammer, and kill the guy who lives there with it too. you can't blame the hammer for building a tank the blows things up for real, but somehow everybody tries to blame the internet for violence. you can look up the recipes for bombs and look at porn and join a cult without the internet, it's just easier with the internet because it is a really great tool. like you.

b/c Internet has now b/c a playgroud for perpetrators of bad stuff. It is like a breeding place for the devil. With that said, Internet is like any other technology....One can make the best out of it. It all depends on how it is used.

No. They only give us info on the crimes that have already been committed. It's people's own fault for doing something wrong; not anyone else's.
