Hyland's Teething Tablets.
They are WONDERFUL. Far better than Orajel. They are homeopathic. They don't numb the mouth, so they don't interfere with feeding. They dissolve in their mouths right away so there is no fear of choking. I used them for all three kids with great success.

I have an (almost) 6 month old son who has been teething for close to a month and a half (at least). I used to use only Orajel, but then my friend recommended trying the teething tablets. They work really well for my little boy. He is trying to cut his second tooth now, probably will show itself this week. I use a combination of teething tablets and Orajel. I alternate between the two; this approach works best for my son. Good luck!

We use Hyland's teething tablets. They seem to take the edge off. They dissolve right away on the toungue. You can give them frequently without worrying about overdosing since they're herbal. We've also used Tylenol which helps, though she has recently started spitting it out. The tablets are really inexpensive considering there are tons in the little bottle. It can't hurt to give them a try!

I have not had the chance to use them yet but I picked up a bottle after hearing sooo many parents swear by teething tablets. I checked them out on the internet too and you can find testimony after testimony of people who say they worked better and faster than anything else.

I have two children 16 and 13. I always tell expecting parents "the best advice I have is hyland's teething tablets. Homeopatic, safe and easily dissolve...even affordable!" I swear by them. Good luck

My doctor told us to steer clear of baby orajel type products. They drool the stuff away so quickly they never work and they can also cause excessive drool and choking. My niece choked from it. I used the teeth tabs with all my kids and I know that they worked. No more crying and they went to sleep easier and my youngest stopped chewing on teethers all together and had been in a lot of pain prior to the tabs.

I LOVE them. My son drools so much, the gel stuff would last 2 seconds. I use the Little Remedies brand. At first, he didn't like having them in his mouth. But, I think he started to realize they helped him, so now he smiles and plays when I give them to him. If it's hard to get them to stay under his/her tongue, just put them in their jaw and keep an eye on them.. Sometimes, if my son is getting really fussy and not keeping them in, I let him keep them in his mouth until they're wet, then take them back out and squish them and rub them back into his mouth. You can also melt them in some water, but my son won't go near it.

Also, he loves to chew on a washcloth and his blanket. It's one of the little thermal waffle-type texture. Best of luck, teething is such a hard thing!

Hello,

Yes, I have been using teething tablets for our twins since they were 5 months old. I love them and they seem to work for our twins.

I usually give them 5 at a time, but no more.

Hope this helps you... :-)

I'd suggest any baby orajel products. They really work well if you follow the instructions. My son had a horrible time as well but it all worked out after I got the orajel! Best of luck!
