i don't know where these people are getting their false info but dwarf hamsters are perfectly fine together & prefer company. occasionally some fight but mostly if raised together they're fine.syrians are the ones that need separate cages.

the bigger the cage the better. can never be too big. i would just give them just one food dish (they dont mind sharing & they dont need that much food) to give them more room and hide food around the cage when they sleep. they'll enjoy the hunt when they wake up. also buy them a couple balls so they can get some exercise outside the cage. mine run daily for up to 3 hours - with breaks back in the cage for water/food every 1/2 hr. they chew when they want out---since yours r in an aquarium they will prob just try and crawl up the side of it when they want out. with the toys, take them out one day & put back on others---makes it more interesting.

thank u for caring!

Dwarf hamsters cannot be housed together because they will fight. Please read up on hamsters. Then you will learn how to care for that particular type of hamster. There are specific kind of cages for hamsters that allow them to climb, travel through tunnels, and hind in. Good luck
