Tell them that you want to cancel your service, and if they ask why, tell them you're going to another provider....Chances are, they'll offer you deals to keep you as a customer

Call Customer Care and ask to speak to someone in the retention department. This department is authorized to make "deals".

Go online and price different carries. I know verizon has some deals. I checked into nextel and they are the most expensive.
