I'd suggest going with the same flooring. If you use two different ones it could come across as too busy. One continuous color though would also give the illusion of bigger rooms.

Keeping the laminate the same will help keep the cost down and I think it would also add to the feeling of space. Having two different flooring's could make the rooms look smaller.
