I'm just looking for a emo, rock, alternative or punk group who's lyrics aren't complete crap. I would prefer alternative or acoustic type music but anything works. O and if you can find a couple good bands with the violin used frequently in thier songs that would be AWESOME i'll even give u the best answer

Panic! At The Disco has violin in their songs and they have good lyrics. Fall Out Boy has really good lyrics. The Fray, 30 seconds To Mars and Snow Patrol have good lyrics.

Totally check out Dashboard Confessional. They are the best!!! I think they really fit what your looking for....and they do have a girl violin played in some of alot of thier songs. You just have to kinda listen.

Try listening to the orginal Guns and Roses. Note that is the ORGINAL Guns and Roses not this thing that Axl recently started. There is a reason they were one of the biggest rock bands back then. There is a reason even guys would admit they liked them.

Brand New is amazing. Their lyrics are so well-thought and well-expressed. Definitely one of the greatest bands.
Cursive is a really good one too.
Desaparecidos&Bright eyes feature Conor Oberst who is one of the greatest musicians/lyricists of all time.
