No she will be fine...it's not that scary just interesting and it will keep you watching. Nothing to give any one nightmares for. The movie in general was good i would say...have fun! lemme know if you liked it!

I personally think she will. I am 29 and I thought the original was creepy enough. And this movie is shot exactly the way the first one was shot. So, be prepare to jump a little, now and then. Especially the scene where the man's head was cut off, where the priest was speared like a javelin going through his body and the young lady hanging herself in front of all the kids at the birthday party. It was a good movie, though. Yes, you should keep it, no, you should not let her watch this. YOU watch this. This will give her nightmares. But, as a whole, this was a good movie because it kept to the original script and the performances (especially of the little boy) were pretty good.

I would not let my 10 year old watch it.
I love this movie but the original is far better.
SPOILERS BELOW!!!!!
The reason I would not let a child see this for a few reasons. At the beginning when the Catholic priests are discussing Armageddon and the biblical signs pointing to the coming of the antichrist these are signs that are current events such as the WTC falling and the space shuttle exploding, hurricane Katrina. She might feel scared that this is going to happen.
Also there are images in the movie that I wouldn't want my own child to see. For example the nanny hanging herself, Damien's face and teeth turning wolf-like, an impalement, a beheading, Kathy Thorne peeling her own skin off of her face, a priest with a demonic face dropping a newborn baby from balcony, etc.
It's way too much for a child that age to see.

i personally loved the movie. i saw it twice in theaters. one time i took my little brother with me who gets scared easily. it didn't bother him at all. its not really scary per say...its just suspenseful. its not like the scream movies or anything like that with a lot of blood and gore. if it was there is no way i would watch it. the only thing that made me jump in the movie was when it was really quiet and there was a sudden loud noise. overall its a very good movie.
