Here's why: IT SUCKED!!! Honestly do we really need more superheroes? Isn't the DC universe overpopulated as it is? Aren't you satisfied that Black Adam just made two new heroes, just cuz? You need a Super-Chief as well?

Seriously though, DC needs to do something about 52. They're on week 24 and there has been nothing about Batman, Wonder-Woman or Superman featured at all.

The one year later stories were good, but I thought I was going to see Superman trying to get by without powers for a little longer than what five or six issues? It was pretty weak to say the least.

I'm just happy Booster Gold died.

He was simply a plot device to further the Dr. Fate/ Dibny situation. They made him a throw away supporting cast-member (come on he was on a "JLA" with Ambush Bug) but don't worry they could always bring him back.... Even Jason Todd didn't stay dead!

And to reply to Craig B, i was under the impression that 52 was chronicling what happend while the "major DC heroes" were missing.

You have to understand that in the comic book publishing industry, it's either put out a book about them, or if they can't sustain a title by themselves, make them the back up feature, or if they aren't popular enough for that, put them in a team book, and if they aren't popular enough for THAT, kill them off so nobody else can use the character. (Because the last artist/writer to get some fan mail about that character might always be tempted to revive them.) Killing them off requires a senior editorial decision to revive them, and that is always sales driven.

Sorry to be so brutal about it, but business is business. And comic books are a business.
