ceiling heat wires are cloth covered and there are two of them. how do i hook them to thermo that has onw red and one black

The black wire hooks to the power source, The red wire hooks to the heater itself

there should be just 2 wires, match the colors & use wire nuts to tie the corresponding wires together.

STOP - You have major electric wires!

Call Home Depot or Lowe's for complete instructions.
Do not attempt to do this yourself, as you can DIE!!!!

You have Cieling Radiant heat, its not typical do it your self job- call a pro.
