Well in your hypothetical case, the 2nd Amendment gives you the right to fight a tyrannical government. So I would use the amendment to fight back.
Also congress has the power to impeach.

I think thats an excellent question. However...is very unlikely that the US gov would act that way towards the countries population. And I agree with you about voting. They put in ANY office who they want there. Have no illusions about that. Ever wonder why the vote counting officials and actual vote counting stations are deemed classified?..hummmm seems like that should be all public knowledge to me...ya know..if it is ligitimate. In my opinion, the only action the US Gov isnt prepared for and would directly act in the best of the people interest is by marching washington. Dr. Kind knew that....and times havent changed that much since his day. As far as the draft....drafts are no longer legal. There will not be another draft. Ever.

Well, no, I don't think that example is legitimate because it would never happen because the people would never stand for it. It would be universally condemned by everyone in the country. People would absolutely refuse to let it happen, both in that area and around the country.

As for "how far is too far," I don't know. I haven't seen it yet. The Bay of Pigs invasion the JFK supported, until the invaders were in trouble, is an example of too far.

Germany 1933- ridiculous, overly imaginative, never happen , this man Hitler, what a laugh, the people would never stand for it.
When you are dealing with ruthless politicians , never assume anything is to far fetched.
Better still, prepare for the worst, than you will be ready for whatever happens.

Everyone opposed to the Administration in charge would have to rise up with their constitutionally protected weapons at one time to take our country back.
