What about the clubs responsibility for serving underage celebrities?

Paris is of age but who wants to get black listed because they didn't let a celeb in their club?

The problem isn't so much the partying, IMO. The problem is when partying gets in the way of their responsibilities (however few they may be). For instance, Lohan not showing up to work because shes too hungover from being coked out the night before isn't exactly something that other people do. People that can party one night and show up to work the next day don't appreciate that. Also, Paris trying to evade the responsibilities of her probation is a reason for criticism. Also, you pointed out that Linds is turning 21 soon. She has been partying underage for a long time and it is a well known fact that she does lots of drugs on a regular basis. Isn't it annoying that she has been above the law for a while?

Although Paris Hilton isn't underage, the reason for your question is the same reason celebrities get away with everything else they do, including drug possession, drunken driving, shoplifting, etc--because they're celebrities and are held to a different standard than everyone else. Celebrities are treated like royalty for some reason, and even though your average Joe would be put in prison for the rest of his natural life for a bag of cocaine, for celebrities it's not only accepted, it's expected, and they're let off with a slap on the wrist.

Isn't Paris like 24 years old... that's how she does it, she flashes her i.d LOL... anyway who would say no to a Hilton (!)
Lindsay publicly said that she often makes deals with club owners: they let her in and she only drinks juice...
but we often see her totally wasted on paparazzi pictures, so I'm a bit skeptical about that...
But she's best friends with Rumer Willis, and she often goes to that nightclub her stepdad Ashton Kutcher owns, so she gets in pretty easily... In Hollywood everybody knows everybody else, I guess...
The police probably just doesn't care, is corrupted or something like that... that, or they're impressed by the young celebs, which would be a bit surprising...
By the way I think having to wait until you're 21 to go clubbing is quite a long time ;)... I live in Canada, I'm just 18 and here I'm already legal and I go clubbing all the time LOL

Good question. Are they really underage though?
It is a fair guess that the clubs want any publicity they can find, but if they are allowing illegal customers in, they run the risk of losing their licenses.

THESE CLUBS WILL LET ANY CELEBRITY IN BECAUSE THAT'S WHAT GIVES THE CLUBS PUBLICITY, AND THEY MAKE BIG BUCKS OFF OF THEM.
IT SHOULN'T BE ALLOWED, BUT WHO EVER BOTHERS CELEBRITIES ANYWAY BESIDED THE PAPPARAZZI. MABIE THEY SHOULD TAKE PICTURES OF THE GIRLS DRINKING INSIDE THE CLUB.
