Why is my friend barred from logging in to Yahoo online chess? What could be the possible reasons?

I know for sure hes not abused any player. For no apparent reason, he and a decent girl were debarred. they both are upset. they get also upset when another player takes their seat when disconnected and no way can they boot him out. In the older version of chess one could boot easily. plz clarify if you can.
