No, I would not say so. The thing with Lebron was that he was so good at such a young age. He was not the best rookie I have seen. Tim Duncan as a rookie was better than Lebron James as a rookie.

Duncan averaged 21.1 pts, 11.9 reb, 2.5 blks

Nothing against Lebron but Tim Duncan was dominant as a rookie.

Lebron was great as a rookie, but I think Carmelo probably deserved rookie of the year. Jordan is still the best rookie though.
