I don't know why people hate them, Maybe because they are just good. Jeff Gordon and Jimmie Johnson are my 2 favorite drivers and someones comment I read in another post about Gordon should have died at Daytona instead of Dale Earnheardt was very sick and uncalled for.

I'm a Joe Gibbs and Penske fan, so I don't really root for Jimmie or Jeff. However, I would be stupid if I said I hated them...because it's not true! Johnson and Gordon have a lot to be proud of. They both drive well and have had some really great victories. The Hendrick team bonds pretty well together and helps one another at races. Jimmie and Jeff are probably hated because some people think they are snotty and never do anything wrong. Some people think Jeff Gordon is gay, which I don't even understand. Others just like other race teams better. I can't say for sure why everybody hates Hendrick, but I will be the first to say that they have nothing to be ashamed of. They are great drivers, and no matter who fans like, they shouldn't hate Jimmie Johnson or Jeff Gordon (plus any other Hendrick drivers!)

I don't hate them as much as their car owner. I guess it makes me mad that some of the other drivers that would be considered "underdogs" can't seem to run as good as those guys. Guys like Martin, Burton, etc. that have been around a long time and desrve to win the championship instead of watching Gordon win it for a 5th time.

Mainly they're jealous of all the success they have each had. They just wish their favorite driver would have that much success. Jeff Gordon and Jimmie Johnson are my favorite drivers so I don't hate them.

Gordon is a whiner, plain and simple. I thought I would lose it when he got mad at Vickers for driving him hard a few weeks back. Excuse me, but doesn't Vickers have sponsers and a crew to try to win races for? I thought the object of racing was to WIN. Why should Vickers give up winning just to help Jeffie Poo? Seems quite selfish to me. Also, when has Jeffie Poo ever helped Vickers?

Eyebrows is another whiner. He seems to forget all the wrecks he has caused in the past. So for him to get mad at Vickers was a moot point. I also just love how insulted he gets when reporters would ask him about his post race inspection. Eyebrows seems to forget that his crew chief has a very colorful history when it comes to the rules and following them. So, don't get all high and mighty when reporters ask you a question about your car, Eyebrows.

Years ago the people who complained about Gordon always used the excuse the he hadn't "paid his dues", he had started winning too much, too fast and should have had to sit back and wait his turn. That's garbage. Now, Jeff is called a whiner when he makes any comment. People don't like JJ because of his association with Jeff, the fact that Jeff is part owner of JJ's car. Because they don't have any other real reason to dislike them, they call them gay.

The people who think Hendrick drivers get an unfair advantage because of the money or people who complain he fields too many cars, that is no different than any other aspect of society. Money talks. It always has, it always will.

It seems to me if you like Dale Jr, you hate Jeff Gordon and vise-versa. I'm not saying that all of Jr.'s fans are that way, but I know a lot of them are. I like Gordon, I used to like Jimmie, but after the whole "cheating" incident I kind of lost respect for him.

Because if they don't win, someone from their pit crew has to get them a Kleenex before they'll do an interview. If it weren't for different car numbers nobody would be able to tell them apart.

Its because they win. Every driver gets hated by some other fan. Its the way it is. Why waste time hating a driver, just enjoy the one your a fan to.
