Is this fair, when I got married 4 years ago I asked my dad if he could help pay for my wedding and he only gave me $150 dollars for the entire event. I had over 200 people there and luckly I was able to struggle and do it myself. My sitster is getting married and he is paying for the whole thing, and I really don't think that is fair. I mean nothing has changed with his finances in the last couple of years. I think it kind of sucks!!!

that is not fair, if he's paying for your sister's wedding then he should have paid for yours. $150.00?? what were you suppose to do with that?

That is not right and you have every reason to be upset. It can only be one of three things. He doesn't like your husband. He doesn't like you. He likes your sister a lot more then you.

Don't be afraid to go back and ask Dad his reason and see if you can get him to pony-up some cash. Call it a late wedding gift or anything. Fair is fair.

thats not fair at all, something similar happened to me though my mom bought my dress and shoes... but the whole time she was running her mouth about me marrying the wrong person and saying things like "we can go to the beach and never come back" which really hurt my feelings, maybe he didnt like ur future husband... we had to pay for the entire thing too we MADE the flowers and had the reception in the sunday school class room so it wouldnt cost anything... there was like 100 ppl... my dad contributed NOTHING... but then he helped my COUSIN with hers
