What will happen if an electric current is ran through a pickle? I need this for a hw question.please help?

me and hello-kitty-lover both need this by today to get an "A" in Science so please please please help!!! if u dont know just tell us what u think!!

They made a Hot Dog Cooker years ago, I seen them in yard sales. It a row of 6 spikes on one side and 6 on the other. The spike go about 1 inch into both ends of the Hot Dog and it Curves. Plug it in and it make a Hot Dog Hot. So, I will assume you will get a Hot Pickle.
