At my current job I work 30-40 hours a week and my manager has talked to me about going full time salary. I have to give him a figure tomorrow, but he was giving me a salary range which is based on what i work at 30hrs a week and not 40 hrs, and he told me I might work was many as 50 hours regularly and be on call for things I might need to take care of. =( If you go by my 40 hrs i make 70K a year, if you got by my 30 hrs i make 60K a year, he gave me a figure as low as 35k, and I really dont want to do that. In fact, I really think i should even get more because I have my college degree now and increasing responsabilities. I do not want to make less than what I'm making now, even with health benefits. I have to give him a figure by tomorrow, but I don't want to not have a job because "I'm too expensive for them", at the same time I've been looking for another job too. Any thoughts would be appreciated.

Search salaries on line , like www.dol.gov and www.salaries.com

To make sure you now what the market conditions are for your line of work. Kept in mind that health benifits are very expensive right now.
