this was tested some years ago, but unfortunately due to the content of earwax, it doesn't contain a small amount of kerosene like domestic candles do, this enbles them to burn very slowly , the wax is only one part of two required to make them burn.

No idea about the ear wax, but in this area we refer to the strings of goo dangling from childrens noses as candles.
A merry greeting to such a child would be "Hello Candles" or "Hi Snotpump" After all I do live in Nottinghamshire and our county name used to be Snottinghamshire, named after King Snot... Now ask me one on sport...............

yes, it was in the guiness book of records of around '88 (though not exactly sure) where a man saved up about 10-15 years of ear wax to make a candle (Shrek also does it in SHREK 1 !!)

yes but you need lots. Try cleaning your ears every day and saving the stuff in a jar until you think you have enough.

Depending on the size of candle you want, it could take from 10 days to 10 weeks.

Sure,it's still wax. You have to sort of mold it into a candle shape and put a wick at the top.

Ear wax does not burn very well so would probably keep going out and hold only a very small flame, but in theory yes.
