Be supportive. Call your friend and ask her how she is doing as well as how her dad is doing and the rest of the family. Just be there for her. Maybe she just needs a hug or someone to listen to her.

call her and offer to be with her. Does she want you to go to the hospital with her? To help her with other daily tasks or just to have a friend to listen to her. Ask your friend what she needs, it differs for everybody, but let her know that you care and that you are there for her if she needs you.

The best thing you can do is be there for your friend. He/ she will need all the support they can get.
