Okay this story is long, so pay attention carefully.
Right now I'm twelve and when I first moved I was ten.
The first person I met was this girl named julia.
She was so nice. She let me sit with her at lunch and in classes.
She was so much like me. She even talked to me.
She had glasses and curly hair like me. She was the first person I became friends with after my move. She came to my birthday party with a few other friends.
Now its two years later.
Julia has had tons of boyfriends. She is goth. Her hair is all dark and striaghtened. She has said mean things to some of my friends. She only hangs out with her boyfriend who is also goth/punk, and afew other people who are goth/punk.
I invited her to my birthday and hoped she would come.
She rejected my invitation. This could mean either (1) she's busy that day, or (2) she hates me and she doesn't care about my party.
Which one is it? And if it's 2, how can I get her to be my friend again? What do I do?

Wow...my cousin is just like that and I was in that exact situation except for the party part. Um, let's see. Maybe you should try finding some other friends, ones that you can get to know as well as you knew Julia. Or if you can't, try talking to her face to face and ask her, "What happened to us? What happened to you?" Make sure you tell her how much you value her friendship. If she doesn't want to listen, then I'm sorry sweetie, you might have to find a new friend.

I think that she was busy. You can't really say no to a best friends b-day unless you really hate them. She so not hates you!!! You should just go up an talk to her and ask her over. If she rejects that, then just forget her and make newer and nicer friends. I am 10 years old and I used to have friend problems. I just go up and talked to them and those problems are long gone!

if she has turned into a mean person, why bother with being her friend??? find someone who u can rely on, who will come to your party, and who wont turn "goth" no matter what!!!

hope this helps!!!

my friend turned "goth" too. Just push your way to find out whats wrong. if she's rude, maybe you're not meant to be friends.

I don't know which one it is, but if that was my friend. And she was acting like that then i would say that she isn't my friend anymore. But go with what your heart says.
