I have worked close to some towers, and when I am near I hear a loud ring in my ear or something like crickets. Sometimes it is very loud and hurts a little. Does anyone else hear these things?

Yes, I get that too often. Some people think there is a serious health issue with these things, im not sure if it has been proved. Even if it was they would probably hush it up.

It has been firmly established that there is little if any danger from cell tower emissions. A television in the next room sends many many times more radiation -through the wall!- into the room you are in than you would be exposed to standing in a yard with a cell tower next door.

Cell towers do not emit enough RF (radio frequency) energy to harm you if you're standing at ground level. You have to get VERY close to the cell antennae (those long vertical white things at the top of the tower) for the RF level to be high enough to hurt you. Even if you were very close to a cell tower antenna, you would need to be there for MANY hours every day to get a harmful dose of RF energy.

Only if you climb up and jump off, or it falls over on you.

The effects you perceive are not caused by radio radiation from the towers. It takes a lot of radio power to cause adverse health effects, much more than a cell phone tower emits.
