I really want to know if being thin/skinny/small-framed, is better and more desirable than fit, muscular, and shapely. I fit in the "Fit" category and I love to use weights, but I have a pageant coming up in a year and want to know if being this way will hurt my score.....thanks!

I also noticed that the girls in this past years state pageant that were "overly skinny" were not chosen. The girl that won was very muscular, yet thin and very healthy looking.... Last years wasnt that "shapely" or "fit"....

From a guy's perspective, you'd want to be lean and fit (trimmed) so to speak. We like to see shapely curves that you can highlight. Being fit is very desirable as it gives you shape (fit = in shape)! As long as you are not built like a wrestler, which I doubt you are, being fit would be a definite plus.
You've probably heard the news about models in Paris(?) and their issues with skinniness. The models who will be removed are less desirable than the more defined ones.
Basically, healthy = attractive; which is why overly obese or skinny girls are typically not. You will be a prime contender!
Good luck with your pageant!

being fit will be better for you in many aspects! health, overall as well as you actually having some meat and muscle on you as well as curves. as the new thin and skinny is "in" as in Hollywood, just look at those girls, i mean dear God they could use a burger and some fries and then some! for you i would reccomend to be fit: cardio and weights always work and build muscle-remember that it takes both to tone up and if you do too much cardio you lose weight and muscle too! too much weights is not good either, so find a balance. i for example am small and pettie framed and weigh 117 or 118 lbs @ a height of 5'6". but i do cardio like jog on the treadmill at a good pace to start my heart for 15-20 minutes but focus more on being fit in the other areas of my body! i hope that helped.

Pageant judges go for thin rather than fit. The thinner the better. It doesn't seem fair, but that's the way it's always been. Good Luck!....)(

Fit all the way. I'm a thin girl wanting to be fit but I'm just to lazy honestly.

Thin is always nice but I like a fit woman myself. I love to see the body tone. Not the over done body builder type but more the Angelina Jolie type.

FIT anyday as long as your muscles are not like a mans...thin is bad but fit is great as long as you dont look like a man...so if you are TOO "muscular" then tone it down a little bit but a fit tummy, butt is perfect!

You're unsuitable. I'd uncover the heavier woman extra fascinating. At that weight she's certainly no longer fats, just a bit obese, and I'd uncover her curves so much sexier. I guess the skinny woman (who I expect is you) does not have curves and is particularly not anything impressive in a bikini. Personality is main to me, and neither one of the vital 2 women particularly appear like quality persons. The curvy woman hanging down a skinny woman is off-hanging, and the skinny woman who thinks she is higher is off-hanging as good.

Depends how fit is fit, but the truth is its going to hurt your score if you dont fill out your dress and swimsuit in the right way.
