Look there is no easy way out that works and keeps the weight off. All you can do is good ol diet and exercise. My mom is currently going through the diet and exercise program at Curves and it looks promising I may start it myself. They say that their system which is a 1/2 hour workout three times a week along with a prescribed diet will get you to lose weight. The cool part is once you are at your target weight there is a system so that you don't have to continue to diet. You do have to continue the exercise. And whenever you gain more than 3 pounds you diet for 3 days. I like the sound of it because I hate dieting.

First of all, please believe this is said with NO OFFENSE.

I have to wonder why so many who ask similar Q's say "LOOSE" as opposed to "LOSE"??

I suggest that on the most modest level you can lose as much as you ingest,,,in weight,,,EVERY DAY,, by a few natural processes. That certtainly will cause noticable weight loss,,even within a weeks time,,,but can also be a situation where your body starts to digest Muscle Mass, as well as anything else.

Backing up however,,,EASY,,, is to stop eating. And then consider eating habits, then avoid chemical solutions, then make it a disipline, then a habit.

Without any real details NO ONE here can give you any real, valid, Health advise,,,,we all have opinions. Historical issues, such as Genetics, contributing to WHO we are,,,and WHAT we look like, and weigh,,,as well as Medical disorders,,IE: Glandular stuff.

There is no such thing as BIG BONED makes us FAT,,,or Small BONED promises SKINNY.

Now,,,and again, with no offense meant to your incorrect spelling...

"LOSE",,, "LOOSE" weight will always be a challenge, but certainly not one to back away from.

you have to make changes that you can stick with otherwise you will lose a pound or two and gain five back.

change your diet. anything you do different will help, stop drinking soda, eat less fat or eat less sugar. DON'T ever eat after dinner.

Start some kind of excercise. Walking after dinner is the easiest thing to start doing and you can even get your family to start walking.

Drink lots of water.

If you are looking for a quick fix, slimfast is an easy way to lose weight but it is hard to stick to it for a life changing diet.

This diet works by burning fat of the body very fast. The secret is that you burn more calories than you take in. During the whole diet you are not allowed to have any alcohol, because alcohol blocks this burning process of the fat in your body.

If you want to have alcohol you must stop the diet 24 hours prior consumption.

You will notice that your digestion will adapt to another rhythm. Don't worry about that, it is normal.

Important is: never bread, alcohol, lemonade, not even diet lemonade only drink tea, coffee, fruit juices (everything without sugar) or low fat milk, best is simple water

Always keep in mind: the more soup you eat the more fat you burn! No fried food. Instead of meat you can have chicken without skin or fish. Even if you take medicine you can make this diet.

This diet is used for patients who have to undergo heart surgery and need to loose weight rapidly as they are too fat.

Ingredients fort the soup:
6 long spring onions (or vegetable onions)
1-2 cans of tomatoes without skin
1 big European style white cabbage
2 big green paprikas
1 celery (not the round one, the long one)
1 set of parsley
2 ready mix of ingredients for onion soup (brand Maggi or other)

You can add salt, pepper, curry, parsley, chili or Tabasco to add flavor to your likings. Cut the vegetable-ingredients into small pieces, put into a pot and full with water that everything is covered by water. Now cook it until the water boils. Add the content of the onion soup ready mix, cook for ten minutes, then continue on smaller heat until the vegetable is done.

You can eat this soup every time when you feel hungry. You almost eat zero calories. The more soup you eat the more fat is burned out of your body. If you go out take some soup with you.

**Eating the soup over a longer period would lead to starvation and nutrient defficiency

Day One:
Today you have your soup together with fresh fruit. You can have all kind of fruit except the very sweet one like Banana, Water or Honey Melon, Mango, etc. Drink a lot of tea or water without gas.

Day Two:
Eat fresh, uncooked or vegetable from the can. Best is green color vegetable. Never take red beans, corn or vegetable of this kind. And always have your soup. In the evening you reward yourself with a baked potato and low fat butter (margarine?). Do not eat any fruit.

Day Three:
Eat as much soup as you can. You can have fruit and vegetable of the mentioned kind too. No baked potato! If you have strictly followed the diet and not committed any “sin” you have lost already 3 – 4 kilogram of your weight.

Day Four:
Today you have three Bananas with low fat milk and lots of water without gas – water as much as you can have. And as much soup as you can have. Today your body needs carbohydrates, proteins and calcium – too lower your wish to have sweet items.

Day Five:
Today you can have 500 grams of meet (chicken or turkey) and a can or 6 fresh tomatoes. Try to drink 6 – 8 glass of water to get all the acid out of your body. And as always – don’t forget your soup.

Day Six:
Meat and vegetable of the mentioned kind as much as you want. The vegetable must be green. Don't forget the soup.

Day Seven:
Unprocessed cooked rice, vegetable, fruit salad and the soup.
Up to now you have lost 5 – 8 kilograms!!!!!!!!

Important:
If you have lost more than 8 kilograms you must make a pause for 7 days, before you restart at day one. If you haven't cheated you will have lost 5 – 8 kilograms during the last seven days.
You can repeat this diet on periodical basis BUT NOT TOO MANY. Say, once in a month is ok. You will reach your ideal weight and feel healthy and much more fit. Also, u will find your skin and body is glowy and cleansed.

There are many ways to lose weight but the hard part is keeping the weight down afterwards.. and the best way to do that is to make sure you eat a healthy diet with the occasinal sweets. You can allow yourself to eat more calories as long as your willing to burn as much as you consume.

sad to see people post dont eat. actually eating correctly is the best way to loose weight. lots of small meals. 4 - 5 small meals a day and exercise! best way to loose perminate weight. sure not eating will drop weight but once u start eating u will gain it all back. there is no quick fix to loosing weight but therea a good way to do so! good luck :)

Find out what your body needs as far as calorie intake is concerned. Eat a little less than what is recomended for you. Thats it. Simple.

Losing weight is a simple equation of calories in, calories out. If you burn more calories than you are taking in, you will burn fat and loose weight. Light to moderate exercise is recomended to maintain a higher metabolism but for the most part, if you abide by this principle, you'll lose weight.

All of those diets out there are CRAP TRYING TO TAKE YOUR MONEY! You can eat whatever you want so long as you follow this principle and work out. Living healthy is a lifestyle and if you want to lose weight, just burn more calories you are taking in. If you want to gain, burn less. Obviously if you want to remain the same, calories in = calories out.

yes, the fastest way (besides awful stuff like barfing) is to limit your calories.
For instance, i starting eating just 1,000 calories a day and lost 20 pounds in a month. its actually not that hard. drink lots of water, eat clear soups, etc. Your stomach will start to shrink and then it wont be so hard. But you may need to eat more or less depending on your situation.
