I went out to take my puppy out to do her bussiness and omg something came flying toward me as fast as it could and then it stopped sudden and hovered above me for at least 10 minutes.
my pup was so scared but i could'nt move to pick her up, could it have been a UFO?

UFO is an acronym from Unidentified Flying Object. So, if you saw an object in the sky that you could not identify, then you saw a UFO.

If it flew fast and then hovered, it was probably a helicopter. Nothing else does that, except certain very exotic experimental aircraft and VTOL fighter jets.
If it was flying, and you didn't identify it, then by definition it is an Unidentified Flying Object.

of course it is a UFO(unidentified flying object) until some one identifies it.
UFOs are common, but most are not flying saucers(almost none).
Your encounter sounds interesting. how high was it? what did it look like? lights only or shape? color? Direction came from? where did it go after hover? noises?what area do you live?

You need to be very specific with these types of questions.
To make a proper ID, you need color, shape, size, approximated speed, more about what your dog was acting like (just out of my curiosity), and preferably a photo or video recording. were there any flashing lights, noise, how many people saw it?

Unidentified to you, perhaps, but not aliens. How high was it? Probably a low-flying plane or someone's toy plane tricking you.
