I have a lot of friends but after marriage I love spending time with my wife and 3 year old daughter. I only meet my friends on friday in the evening. I just like spending time with my wife and daughter more than anything else in the world and I love them.

On Saturdays, we (me and my wife) visit each others parents and siblings. Later watch a movie and go out for dinner. On Sundays, we play and spend time with our daughter and take her to Mcdonalds and later a kids movie and in the evening we take her to places like the zoo, park, playground, museum etc.

Is there anything wrong with wanting to spend more time with you family?

you are VERY normal. I think that family comes first ALWAYS, especially your wife and daughter. You are doing absoultly nothing wrong by spending all your time with what is the most important thing to you and should be. Keep up the good work. Maybe if there were more men like you this world would be a nicer place. God Bless...

There is absolutely nothing with spending a lot of time with your family, especially when you have a little child. These are the years your should definitely relish. I totally take my hat off to you for spending increased time with you family. I find this to be highly respectable, especially in a culture that has recently been degrading the family and its values. What ever happened to the good years when we had annual family reunions, or when family would always gather around the dinner table after a long day? I think you are doing exatly what needs to be done, and what should be done more often across the broad spectrum of society!

There is nothing wrong with you. You are on the right path, your marriage will last. Don't listen to losers, the time you spend with your family is so important for your daughter. One day she will thank you for your good parenting and caring.

I think that family time is GREAT! Once I became married, I stop spending time out with friends as often as I used to. When you meet the person you want to spend the rest of your life with, it is obvious that you want to spend as much time with them as possible. We have had two daughters and now just us being together is total happiness. We'd easily pick a day together than hanging out. Family time is the best time!!

Best Wishes to you and your family!!!

You are very normal and don't ever let anyone tell you different!!!
I think it is great that you want to spend all of your time with your family, when your child gets older that is one of the main things she will remember! It is very good for both you and your wife to have a bond with your child. I think friends are very important to have, but if they don't understand that you have a family now and want to see them and spend time with them as much as possible than they really aren't your friends!!!

I see nothing wrong with this arrangement. Once you are married, your own family comes first above other people, including parents.
