The light bulb sucks it back in and releases it when you turn it back on.

Actualy, it just keeps going, and going, and going,until its all gone from the room. Because light travels at 180,000 miles per second!(approx.).....Sowhen you turn it off,you merely have terminated that stream of light that will travel forever!
