Wherever you choose to get your battery, Toyota uses the same as any other vehicle. All you need is the measurements so you know it will fit in the space you have. Batteries are numbered by the position of their posts. draw a diagram of the top of your battery and indicate the position of positive and negative posts
Take it with you, I buy mine at Wal Mart or K Mart, same battery you will pay much more for elsewhere. Buy the battery, in your size, that has the highest cold cranking amps you can get..
Why pay $ioo for a battery that will give you no better warranty than the Wal Mart at about $50 or less ??
For some weird reason there is info. out there that Toyota is something special. They come from the factory with a weird battery but that doesn't mean you have to waste your money.
A 12 volt battery is a 12 volt battery. Warranty is the only difference. Don't get ripped off.

Call you local auto parts dealer and give them your cars, make, model, year, engine size etc. They have charts that will tell them what to tell you in order to get an exact replacement. If you call a Toyota dealer they can also sell you what you need, but at about 2-3 times the price.
