Ok this is my thought. Why dont you interview somone that defends your freedom that you have everyday and he or she is not allowed to exspess himself. Im tlaking about the youg men and women that are in teh army and marines of america. Dont ask anyone in the coastguard, airforce,or navy because they are 97% all paperpushers! Dont ask somone that is the rank/paygrade of an E-6 or above because they dont do jack! Dont ask somone that hasnt fought in Operation Iraqi Freedom (hint operation Iraqi Freedom) because we are fighting for a hole diffrent kind of freedom than in previouse years. Ask your everyday fighting joe, the grunt, the no name joe that joined for his country that doesnt get payed didly. ALso dont ask anyone that never left their base or has never seen action their a bunch of idiots that want attention.
Did you know that this month has been the most bloodiest month for us military (79 daeths) but who cares we are fighting for freedom?

Sophist makes a good point, our Constitutional freedoms have been eroded by Patriot Act, by Congress ignoring what their citizens want. But citizens in a free society also have the responsibility to speak up and be heard. No matter what, freedom is not free.

You need to define freedom, and come up with a way that you think the concept is being challenged. I am not sure if this is an American culture class or otherwise, but you could point to recent legislation passed by the Bush admin. that SERIOUSLY challenges basic freedoms.
