you need to clean your history files and cookies, along with the temporary files then it will work as good as when you first used it, need to go to tools on your browser and then to Internet options,to browsing history and click Delete , then it will open the next page and click on delete files, delete history, delete cookies, then close both pages it may take a while depending on how much you have for it to clean, then close your page all together and reopen it and you are ready to go as if nothing ever happened

What you forgot to do is what most PC users neglect to do; and that is to do a thorough maintenance cleanup of your system. That is, delete all of your Internet temporary files, cookies, history and cache. Then do a check disk and a defrag. Then restart your computer and observe how it would behave. If the problem is still present, check your Memory (RAM), it may be low and you may need to increase it. Also, keep in mind that Yahoo is power hungry and it draws a lot of memory. I hope Yahoo will do something about that problem if they want to compete with Google and other toolbar competitors..

I had the same problem I think. I found out that I had too many things plugged into into my computer at the same time. I have a hub with a printer, a scanner, cyborg joy stick and a steering wheel and a router for my PlayStation. Just too many things all at once for my computer to handle. So, if I'm not using one of my items, such as my joystick or scanner, I'd unplug them. Plug them in if you need them and unplug others till your computer can handle it. Might not be your problem but mine doesn't freeze up on me anymore.

well then, you should reinstall your drivers related to this problem, ie internet explorer. your system could also be corrupted. and sometimes viruses can be soo deeply be embedded into your system after a while that it would be hardto find or even remove it
