I am going to get a peace T-Shirt. I can't wear sandles because I will be working. I have to wear steel toe boots. Yes I know, Hippies don't work! Ha ha
What else could I pick up? What kind of pants do hippies wear? I don't have the guts to wear bell bottoms. Which I do own actually!

Wear the bell bottoms. Put on lots of beads and charms, a tie dyed head band, And the ugliest pair of shoes that you can find, preferably with a bit of a heel. Wear a scarf around your waist, as a belt. That is all I can think of for now.

It's a costume, man you gotta wear the bellbottoms! If not maybe some ripped up jeans. You should wear a tye dyed shirt... get a wig thats either really long straight hair, or a huge afro (close to your normal hair color would be all the better) and tye a bandana around your head, rolled into a wide strip, like a headband but wear it around across your forehead (do you know what I'm talking about?) ...Get a necklace with a peace symbol, or a hemp necklace... Some round frame sunglasses... roll yourself a cigarette (to look like a doobie)... Go all out!

Today's "flared" jeans will work - or even boot cut jeans. You need a tie die shirt with a peace sign or a peace sign necklace. You have to have a chain belt or something similar. Check out the local Goodwill or Salvation Army store for some "hippy" stuff.

suede vest
big leather belt
and YES the bell bottoms are a must! If they were striped or multi-colored that would be even GROOVIER! ;-))

u can press on some smiley face, rainbow, groovy stick ons to ur jeans to make ur normal pants look hippie! and if u have long hair, pull it back in a ponytail. and if ur allowed, get some small, colored sunglasses. preferably blue or purple.
