Legally in the US, yes.
His parents would have to sign papers that he could get married (if marriage age in your state allows). Then, it would be legal.

Make this 24 year old boy and 26 year old girl and there is nothing wrong. But at 16 a boy is about 3- 5 years behind his 16 year old female classmate in maturity (realistic look at life with its good and bad aspects.) For a 19 year old girl to think that this 17 year old boy will be the man of her dreams 5 years down the road, and maybe 2 children later is also not using her head either. Think of him as a job holder, a provider. A recent pole showed people without college think that life is difficult and almost impossible at times in mainstream America, much more often then those with college training. Time will make this match made in heaven turn into hell on earth if he cannot provide for his family, and you being the main bread winner gets old quick with kids to deal with also. Just think it over real good although when I was your age I thought all adults didn't know what I was feeling. Trust me we have all been there and many of us have made some serious mistakes when it came to choosing our mates.

Well, that's only two years difference in age. It may not be wrong, but it's probably illegal in some places. My father is 13 years older than my mother, but things were a lot different back in their younger days.
At 16 years old he's just going through puberty and that's a weird time. Young boys at that age, with nature's help, want to copulate with anything that's remotely attractive due to hormones and such.
I once knew a 20 year old guy who married a 14 year old girl. I think her parents put the girl into his custody. That was like ten years ago and as far as I know, they're still together.

I honestly don't think anything is wrong with this, especially if the parents are ok with the idea. Age doesn't mean anything, it is all about the love. Although I do think that 16 is too young to have a baby because children really take up a lot of time and are very expensive, but that is between the two of you to make that decision.

From the stand point of the age yes I do believe that it is wrong because that is illegal and if one day his parents get mad at you for some sort of reason it can cause a lot of trouble for you and a lot of drama. But if both of you guys were over the age of 20 the I would not have a promblem with it because it is common but just not at the young age that you guys are at right now.

It's not wise, despite what liberals will tell you. Look for a young man your age or older, say from 18 to 22 on up. You're too much for a 16 year old and you'll wind up either eating him alive or chewing him up and spitting him out.

It all depends on the laws in the state that you live in. From what I know, 16 is the age of consent if you run into trouble. But then again, he'd be a minor when you wouldnt be. Just look it up.

In a lot of states you have to be 18 on either side to have relations legally. When both are under age there isn't too much of a problem, but the person of legal age is in danger of jail time..

I don't see a problem. Partially because I don't think there's much of a maturity difference between a 16 year old and an 18 year old.

I see someone was obliged to say "age ain't nothing but a number." Who truly believes that? It's absolute nonsense. The only time you hear such a ridiculous statement is when someone is trying to justify an inappropriate relationship. And it is clear that that is exactly what the question is looking for: justifications for an inappropriate relationship.
