I haven't decided on whether or not I want a PC or notebook. I'm not much of a traveler, so the portability of a notebook doesn't really matter to me. Price is also not a problem...I need your help because I don't know much about computers.

Key Features:

AMD Turion or Intel Core 2 Duo
1 GB to 2 GB of memory
A 15.4 inch display or larger
The fastest hard drive available
Microsoft Windows XP Home or Professional or Microsoft Media Center Edition.

Can you guys list good PCs or notebooks withy these features?

Thank you soooooooo much *muah*

hehe, Johnson saving the day!!!

If you are very serious about gaming of author, then you might wanna get the Dell Xps notebook, or the desktop version. If money is no matter, then get intel core 2 duo, or intel processor that can at least use hyper thread, in other words maybe a processor with at least 8GHz, and you can check if it has that much in the control panel. Also, it would be a VERY good idea to buy a desktop/notebook with windows vista ready. 20 inch display, VGXA or something similiar to that spelling, you dont really need the fastest hard drive. And if you cant chose vista, or you dont want to have it, chose windows xp proffesional. :) happy buying
