Hi...No problem..I joined this just to answer you..
I was on hemo-dialysis for many years and know how to get blood out - trust me...
It's simple: Hydrogen Peroxide will work whether old or new stain...If old, just soak it, then machine wash. If it's new, apply directly, rub, wait, wash - or not, if you can't right away...So far, I've seen it work on all fabrics tried.
That's it...Hope this helped.

Just soap/detergent with COLD water. Don't use hot water - although it will remove some of the stain, the hot water will make what doesn't dissolve a permanent stain. If it's white, use bleach, if you have any (soak the stain in bleach for an hour or so). I wouldn't try the vinegar - I don't know what the acid will do to the fabric.

All the above answers are good, but if you are out someplace and wearing the garment with a small blood stain and need a quick fix...(Don't be grossed out, but this works!) Either spit on it or put it in your mouth (assuming it's your own blood!!!)
"They" say saliva digests the blood. The spot will disappear.
Other than this immediate quick fix, a short soak in cold water before regular laundrying always works for me.

Pour a small amount of peroxide on the stain. Use a dry cloth to pat it dry. Repeat until no sight of blood. It work best if you treat right away.

Blood out of cotton? Yep!! I have 2 rambunctious children. Works everytime! Cold water and Dawn dish soap(original) wont work as well if you use anti-bacterial dawn.

Do you have any hydrogen peroxide? Put it on as soon as possible then rinse it in cold water and the stain will come right out. If not scrub some detergent on it then soak it in cold water. wash them in the morning.

As a professional dry cleaning spotter, I would recommend ammonia. It works great on blood. Just try to test for colorfastness in an inconspicuous area first.

I cut hand once and got in on my clothing, I found hot water from the tap (if you get before it the stain sets), hand soap and usally like shout works. I just rub the soap in, and then rinse through tap, rubbing the stained fabric together. It worked itself out in a few mins and my shirt looked fine and it was white!
