Yes, that is what we are taught. Sometimes it takes a long time to look back and rejoice, but eventually I believe we can reach that point and be glad we experienced it. I can't give a yes or no because first we have to grieve, then let the memories give us pleasure. It's part of our life experience and makes us stronger.

Grieving is a natural reaction, but the idea is to turn a negative into a postive by focusing on the happy memory instead of the loss. Like they say, it is better to have loved and lost, then to have never loved at all.
