I understand your question. You have the tubes which hold the pins of the caster when it is installed. Use a drill bit slightly larger then the sleeve you are inserting into the leg and tap the sleeve in place with a hammer. Mar the distance on the drill bit you need to drill with a marker or tape so you drill deep enough but no reason to go too far. Keep the drill straight!!! You can then slide your caster pin and caster into the sleeve which is usually tension fitted. You can buy those through tool stores or even your larger Wal-Mart if you do not already have them. The casters are weight rated if you have a limit you need to worry about.

you have to drill a hole of the same size into the item you are going to install the casters on!!!
