you need a tax ID number and inorder to do that you need a business license

My entrepreneur daughter says it could depend on where you live and the supplier you deal with. Some suppliers may not require it if they are not forced to by government. Of course, if they do dodge the law, they will probably want cash up front.

I agree, you need a business lic. and a tax id number. Both can be done usually at a state agency.
