This is easy! At home each person including yourself can conserve energy by turning off lights as you leave the rooms, by taking showers instead of baths (showers use less water), by recycling aluminum, paper, and plastic so future generations of people will save energy on making new products. When purchasing new electronic devices or major appliances make sure they are always energy star because they use less power. Set your computer monitor to shut off after 10 minutes of no use, in the winter light a fire (in a fire place), to save energy on heat. Set thermostats to be cooler during the day since noone is home. Make sure when you are brushing your teeth, the water is not running, and make sure you completely turn it off after every use. Car pool if ever possible, or ride the bus to save on gas. AT SCHOOL: Most schools offer paper recycling bins..USE THEM, also most schools will offer aluminum can recycling... USE THEM. Dont waste paper towels, urge the school to get blow dryers for hand drying in the bathrooms. I hope some of this helps. Good luck!

Look up how people conserve energy as a community. Stuff like not leaving lights and the TV on if you're not watching, taking a walk instead of driving if the place isn't too far away, doing outdoor activities instead of sittin home and watching American Idol... there's a lot you can think of.

If you're brain-dead right now, take a break for an hour or two and go back to it.

You can change your essay to reflect "You" by presenting yourself as the instigating agent of Energy conservation. In other words, as the preacher preaches religion, you will introduce the various methods/approaches of conserving energy. So, don't worry about not being able to fix a faucet or anything of the kind. The only think that counts is the idea that you will introduce and convey to other people.

Hope this helps.

yea take a bus, if you need to drive be sure that you have more than 2 passengers, keep the tap shut after using it, use solar energy more, always recycle, if you have a car it better be powered by nature gas, use both surface of one piece of paper, always bring a bag to marts instead of using plastic bags, always use the recycle stuff if it is avaliable, use auto pencil instead of regular pencil, don't do too much photocopy if you can buy the stuff, turn up the air conditioner 1 or 2 digree at summer, I said them in random way but hope it helps:P
good luck to your essay:)

Well to start, you could take public transportation (bus), get a hybrid car, or walk. Solar energy panals could be placed on roof tops and that would eliminate the need for coal power plants. Also turn off electronics and lights when you leave a room.
