For me, Jupiter has always been the most moving - although there's been times when I was angry that Mars expressed my feelings perfectly!

And yes, it DOES help if people who answer this question actually know what you're asking!

Jupiter, without a doubt. And incidentally, a piece was written for Pluto in 2000, by Colin Matthews from Manchester' Halle Orchestra, and was performed at that years Proms. Also, piece were written for an asteriod, and a comet (i think), although i don't know who by.

Oh dear! You really have stretched the little brains here tonight! I'm with you - Jupiter the bringer of joy.

Incidentally, with the demotion of Pluto, the Planets' Suite is once again complete!

Holst planet?

If you mean planets in general, i'm quite fond of Earth, since we live here. That and it's moon is quite nice to look at.

Saturn out of the non-hospitible planets though.

I think Jupiter has the catchiest melody. Neptune is so sublime though.

I just remember being forced to listen to them in Music at school, ever since then I have not been able to bring myself to listening to them again.

Mars, but i've forgotten the rest so its not a very informed answer.

I like Neptune best - it is quiet but has interesting harmonies and a more "other-wordly" sound.
